Katie has a son in 1st grade and a daughter joining Chehalem for the first time in the Pre-K program.  She has enjoyed volunteering at her children’s schools as well as donating time and energy to other local organizations for over fifteen years. Katie is a stay-at-home mom who recently opened her own private life coaching business. In her downtime, she enjoys reading, riding her bike, walking, and spending time with the family at the lake, the coast, or on a good trail. Crystal has a 7th grader at Cedar Park Middle School and 4th grader at Chehalem.  When she’s not volunteering at the school or working on PTO stuff, she’s working as a pre-kindergarten teacher at A Child’s Way Preschool in Beaverton. She enjoys baking, reading, being outdoors, and watching her children do what they love.  As outgoing Co-President, Crystal helps oversee PTO operations.

Jasmine is the a mother of two girls, a 2nd grader at Chehalem and an 8th grader. She is blessed to work a remote position which enables her to volunteer and be more active in her girls’ schools than in the past. Evenings are filled with never ending soccer practice and games.  When they do get time off from soccer, they enjoy binge watching Netflix, staying at the coast and traveling to visit family in Hawaii. Jasmine is also one of our Popcorn leads. As Vice President Jasmine manages events, supports the President position, and is active in fundraising.

Lindsey has three kiddos at Chehalem this year; in 4th, 3rd, & Kindergarten. Lindsey is also a small business owner of a successful sock company (she helped us create the awesome Chehalem socks you might see around the halls). In her limited free time Lindsey enjoys coaching soccer and travel. As Treasurer, Lindsey is responsible for creating the PTO budget and managing the books and reimbursements. Erica is mom to a Portland Timbers loving 5th grader and a book obsessed 8th grader.  She is a clinical psychologist who works in a local school district.  Erica enjoys volunteering in the schools and served as volunteer coordinator at her children’s previous school.  In her free time she enjoys reading, going on adventures with her kids, scrapbooking, and photography. As Volunteer Coordinator, she is responsible for answering questions and filling volunteer needs at the school. Contact Erica for any volunteering questions you might have!

Yvette joined the board as Co-Volunteer Coordinator for the 23-24 school year. As Volunteer Coordinator, she is responsible for answering questions and filling volunteer needs at the school.

Shannon is the mother of two boys; one in 7th grade at Cedar Park Middle School, and the other in 5th grade at Chehalem.  She spends her days as an accountant for an industrial tech company, and her evenings chasing the boys to baseball and swim practice.  In her downtime, Shannon enjoys reading, Netflix, and camping.  She absolutely adores the community that her family has found at Chehalem, and enjoys supporting its students and faculty through the PTO board.  As Secretary, Shannon is responsible for keeping meeting minutes and maintaining the website. She is happy to answer questions about what was discussed during meetings.

April is the mother of a 4th grade daughter and an 8th grade son. April is currently a stay at home mom. She enjoys cooking and knitting. April started attending the PTO meetings when her son started kindergarten to learn about school events and programs at Chehalem and meet other parents. April has served on the Chehalem PTO board since June 2016 briefly as Secretary, she then spent many years as Treasurer, and is now transitioning to a Member-at-Large and supporting our new Treasurer.

Monica has a daughter in 5th grade at Chehalem. Monica loves the outdoors and volunteering in the school as much as she can.  As a Member-at-Large, Monica’s role is to help the PTO with any tasks.
