Katie has a son in 1st grade and a daughter joining Chehalem for the first time in the Pre-K program.  She has enjoyed volunteering at her children’s schools as well as donating time and energy to other local organizations for over fifteen years. Katie is a stay-at-home mom who recently opened her own private life coaching business. In her downtime, she enjoys reading, riding her bike, walking, and spending time with the family at the lake, the coast, or on a good trail. Jasmine is the a mother of two girls, a 2nd grader at Chehalem and an 8th grader. She is blessed to work a remote position which enables her to volunteer and be more active in her girls’ schools than in the past. Evenings are filled with never ending soccer practice and games.  When they do get time off from soccer, they enjoy binge watching Netflix, staying at the coast and traveling to visit family in Hawaii. Jasmine is also one of our Popcorn leads. As Vice President Jasmine manages events, supports the President position, and is active in fundraising.

Vanessa is the mom of a 1st grader at Chehalem. She enjoys spending her time with her family– especially running around for her son’s basketball and soccer games. You can often find her with a paddleboard in hand or trudging around the woods with her bow. Please feel free to ask her any questions about volunteering!!

Rathana is a mom of three. She has a first grader at Chehalem, a 6th grader at Whitford Middle, and a junior at Mountainside High. She is a chef/owner of Rathana’s Catering and has been providing meals for Chehalem teachers for over 10 years now. Aside from creating feasts for her community, Rathana hosts many events and holiday parties for her friends, family, and neighbors. Please ask Rathana how you can volunteer in our schools!

Meet Lorena, a dedicated mother of two energetic boys, one in 3rd grade and the other in 9th. While supporting her husband in their business, she manages to carve out time to actively engage in her children’s school activities. Their days are filled with the excitement of baseball practices, intense games, and honing batting and catching skills. In her spare moments, Lorena indulges in her passions for arts and crafts, nurturing her garden, going for leisurely walks, and embarking on memorable family trips.
